First European independent agency network for financial sector communications.

Today marks the launch of FINCOM ALLIANCE, a new European agency network specialising in financial services communications, covering the DACH region, UK, France, Italy, Spain and Portugal. The network brings together leading agencies from each region, working collaboratively to help clients roll out their communication strategies in core European markets.

“Of course, there are large international networks in the market already,” explains Thomas Egger, founder and Executive Chairman of TE Communications, and initiator of the project. “But what sets us apart is our specific focus on the financial sector, built on many years of specialist experience. All partner agencies have in-depth market knowledge and excellent media contacts. And because we are exclusively owner-managed we can guarantee personal advice and service at all times.”

Alongside TE Communications (DACH), FINCOM includes Liminal (UK), Fargo (France), Mymediarelation (Italy), ALL Comunicação (Portugal) and comma (Spain). The network members share the same philosophy based on close collaboration, an entrepreneurial mindset and delivering high-quality strategic advice.

Together, this ‘constellation’ of agencies focuses on strategic consulting, media relations, digital communication, content creation, reputation management and crisis communications. The network provides services to a wide range of clients from across the financial industry including banks, asset managers and FinTechs, among others.

“As the financial services sector becomes ever more competitive, complex and challenging, we are hearing loud and clear that clients want an agency by their side that really understands their business and can provide sophisticated insight and advice”, says Rosa del Blanco from comma.

“At the same time, more and more financial providers are active in multiple European countries or are entering new markets. With FINCOM, clients can continue to enjoy the high-quality delivery and specialist expertise of their local lead agency, but replicate this experience across different European markets.”

While many other agency networks are designed mainly as referral platforms, FINCOM’s approach is very different, based around sharing the same high standards and maintaining frequent contact between all partners. The network agencies constantly exchange information and ideas on the latest communications trends and developments in the financial services space, in their respective markets, to ensure clients benefit from the latest thinking.

In the coming months, the network will announce further initiatives, services and financial education projects. FINCOM is also keen to welcome new and like-minded members that reflect the network’s vision and values.
